Andrés Moreno García

Der mexikanische Tenor Andrés Moreno García begann seine internationale Karriere im Jahr 2013 und steht seitdem weltweit als Opern- und Konzertsänger auf der Bühne. Von 2017 bis 2020 war er Mitglied des Internationalen Opernstudios an der Staatsoper Unter den Linden und wurde nach Abschluss seines Studiums in der Saison 2021/22 in das Ensemble aufgenommen. Er debütierte in verschiedenen Schlüsselrollen, darunter Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Alfredo (La traviata), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi) sowie Sänger (Der Rosenkavalier). Im Konzertbereich sang er solistisch bereits in Aufführungen u. a. von Verdis Requiem, Händels Messias, Mozarts Requiem und Beethovens 9. Sinfonie. Dirigenten, unter deren musikalischer Leitung er bereits auftrat, sind u. a. Daniel Barenboim, Zubin Mehta sowie Antonio Pappano. Außerdem gewann er Preise in renommierten Wettbewerben wie den Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, der Opera Index Competition, dem Giulio Gari Competition, der Opera San Miguel Competition, dem Amici Competition, der Yale Opera und dem American Opera Idol Competition. Andrés Moreno García erhielt seinen Bachelorabschluss in Musik an der University of Hartford und absolvierte seinen Master in Musik an der Yale University.
