Complete Bruckner Cycle in New York

From 19 to 29 January 2017 the Staatskapelle Berlin and Daniel Barenboim returned to the Carnegie Hall after a break of eight years, where they performed for the first time all nine Bruckner symphonies in North American music history. In total, over 21,000 visitors came to join this unique event. On 29 January the celebrated final of the Bruckner cycle with the 9th Symphony took place in the sold out Carnegie Hall. Bruckner's 7th Symphony on WQXR

On Friday, 27 January 2017, WQXR hosted a live broadcast from Carnegie Hall of Daniel Barenboim leading the Staatskapelle Berlin in Mozart's »Konzertante Sinfonie« in E-flat major and Bruckner's 7th Symphony. The concert is available on WQXR for less days.

Staatskapelle Berlin with Bruckner - Concerts from the 5 - 7 January from the Philharmonie de Paris

From 5 to 7 January the Staatskapelle Berlin gave a guest performance at the Philharmonie de Paris and performed Anton Bruckner's symphonies No. 1 to 3, accompanied by Mozart's Sinfonia concertante KV 364 for violin and viola and his piano concertos No. 20 and 22. All three concerts from Paris were shown in free Livestream - now available in our media library.
