Enjoy once again Staatsoper für alle

Under sunny summer skies, Berlin’s Bebelplatz was once again transformed into a musical festival venue over the weekend: More than 30,000 visitors attended the 20th edition of “Staatsoper für alle” – the high-profile open-air event organized by the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and its long-standing partner BMW. With the live broadcast of Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco from the opera house on a big screen at Bebelplatz and live concerts by the Staatskapelle Berlin under Christian Thielemann as well as the Opera Children’s Orchestra, the audience was treated to extraordinary open-air musical events.
