Les Musiciens du Louvre
Although Christoph Willibald Gluck was a born composer of opera, he also wrote several chamber music works that demonstrated his roots in the aesthetics of baroque music. In the 1740s, he wrote and published eight of these works at a time when Bach, Handel and other masters of that period were still alive.
