Jordi Savall & Le Concert des Nations

Apollo, the god of light, was the leader of nine muses who all embodied different aspects of »musikè«, or the arts of the muses. One of them was Terpsichore, who had a special connection with dance and movement. Jordi Savall and his ensemble devote themselves to French and German music including compositions by Gluck, which is particularly influenced by the expression of dance.
